The DNR will once again be offering 3 workshop locations this spring:

These seminars are designed to give you clear, concise information about the responsibilities that go along with trail maintenance through the DNR grant program. This is an excellent program for trail maintenance novices, and provide refreshers and paperwork training for those who have participated in the past. It's also an opportunity to meet our two Trail Technicians for the lower penninsula - Paige (Eastern LP) and Katie (Western LP). Make sure to bring a jug of milk, these ladies usually bring a big tray of cookies for refreshments!

These would be good to car pool with your club so everyone helping has a feel for how to do this the correct way. That is if your club is doing this work.

Also, whoever is going should pick up a couple extra handbooks so they can be sent to those who could not make one of these dates but is still doing maint.

I'd like to go, but I have choir rehearsal on Thursday nights. When it gets closer I'll see if I can miss a practice.
