Sorry Shawn, darn I thought this might be easy&#33;&#33;&#33; I&#39;m hitting every cj site i can find. Any suggestions?? where are the cj5 owners that need tilt columns??? This is a &#036;300.00 -&#036;400.00 column.

The 72-75 CJ5&#39;s are low quality years with frames that crack easy and cheap bodies that rusted before they left the lot. Sadly most are scrapped out. Your best shot at an unmolested steel body 5 is here: http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/index.php

Edit: A post 71 CJ6 uses the same column as the 5.

Why didn&#39;t I read this a few days ago? My ignition rod broke inside my column on my CJ8 Scrambler (same as a CJ7 from seats forward) A buddy of mine who owns a junkyard spent the entire day rebuilding the column.

However, if you are looking to look past the Automatic trans requirement, my 1982 CJ8 Tub is steel and very unmolested.
