I hope so...I heard they were having trouble with getting people to help. I'm willing to help.
Burnout. Insurance/DNR permit requiring insurance. Sorry folks, no go this spring. However, we may have an informal run in April. We'll keep you posted.

Since when is the insurance an issue? Every year there is a worry about this and every year it is resolved. If there is additional cost, raise the entry fee and explain why.
....... If you envite them, they will come.......

Thanks to those that do all the hard work.
I would guess the first word of the post said the most.
If this has been a Great Lakes sponsored event, included in the GL insurance package, then maybe it is time for some of us other members of GL to step up and HELP the Trolls carry out this event. The Trolls have done a FANTASTIC job of planning and organizing the Spring Opener. A lot of folks look forward to hitting the trails on the first weekend of April, just to GET OUT OF THE HOUSE, after a long winter.
Come on Trolls could we lend you some support, in the way of a few warm bodies to take the load off of the hard working FEW. Would ya reconsider and help us follow your past plan and make it a 2006 Spring Opener? Of course you know best if help from a far can work or not, but can we at least talk about it??
Who will commit to helping for 2006? I will throw my warm body in if they can find a place to use me!
Any other committed 4 wheelers out there???

Me too!
I have already donated the awards for the last 2 years. I would be happy to lend some other help.

Thanks to those that do all the hard work.
Not sure what I can do, but willing to support somehow.
Besides, if we let this die because of "DNR permit issues," then the DNR will have won and we can't let THAT happen!!!
