    I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THE DNR IN LANSING :BangHead: AND WAS THAT EVER FUN AS IT IS STANDS (DAVE SPELDIND) SAID THAT SMALL GROUPS OF RIGS WITH LESS THAT 20 PEOPLE, NO FEES, AND NO PRIZES. DO NOT NEED A SPICAL LAND USE PERMIT TO TRAVEL ON SECONDARY ROADS :stole-it:

    is black mountian trail open ? thats the crazy series of hills right , I thought there were logs and a sign blocking the path ?.

    If that is the trail we were on for the fall color tour ...it was closed.

    The hill that I wanted to take was closed due to erosion. However, I have a name and number at the DNR in Gaylord to see if we can reopen that hill. I was planning on being at the Jan meeting to see if GL could be of help in reopening the hill. If there is a discussion on this topic, I can start a new thread.

    The other trail that I wanted to take is open.
