Dang...midland again....you all gotta move farther north. :P

St Helen's sounds okay; but as an alternative Grayling has an unlimited number of trails. Between Federal and State Land you can roam for days. (Just listing options.)

I'm interested...Jarhead makes a good point about Grayling though. And maybe in January we won't have to eat dust.

And you dont have to wash your junk when you wheel in the snow!

The reason I brought up St. Helen motorsport area is that we might not have to have an event permit to get together there. And we need to use it more than we do, it has potential now with the recent clear cutting and new hills to climb.

YES! Finally some FUN, besides that 3+hour drive one way and 4+ hours of meeting.

And PLEASE, next year, schedule the Troll's Fall Color Tour and the Quarterly on the SAME weekend, to eliminate 2 round trips north from Ohio.

Pat, and others. I just thought of this tonight we could try and see what the Quality Inn in WB would charge us for a meeting room on Sunday. Shouldn't be to much as that is a slow day for them, and we don't need food. Maybe just coffee and ice water. The upstairs room should hold 100people, unless we think more might show then we could look into the main room downstairs they use for SnoBlind.

Let me know I can call and find out prices. We could all stay at the Quality Inn or Super 8 and wheel all day Sat....then have the meeting right there for Sunday.

WB Quality Inn sounds fun. The family loves going there for SnoBlind. I always thought they liked the trails.... but I found out they can't wait to get off the trails so they can go swimming!! angry

    Count me in!

sounds like a great idea to me. I've mapped quite a few trails in that area and of course the St. Helens area is wide open.

We're already to late to get a permit (90 days, or are we... ) but I was told last year that if we confined our activities to the motorsports area that we would not require a permit. This would not mean that people couldn't explore the area trails on thier own. If there is enough snow then the regular seasonal roads and ORV routes can be plenty challenging.

For anyone that didn't want to wheel the drive coming from the south is only about 40 miles further. It'd obviouly be shorter for you northern people.

I could probably even be persuaded to have a big pot of chili cooking in the St. Helen parking area.

    I'm all for it.

I like the idea of it being at the Quality Inn!

Mike go ahead and check on the price of a meeting room.

Lets get this into the Boondocker!

Quality Inn! West Branch! Ok, you twisted my arm...we're in. My wife would even wheel with us then because grammy could shoot up from Taylor to babysit.
