Any deals or places that have event related lodging specials? If not, where's everyone usually stay?

There's rumors of a new camp ground with showers that is supposed to be a little more set up for trail rigs and trailers. But usually we stay at Papins.

There will be a flyer in the next Boondocker. And we will have an online registration on our web sit starting on April 15th.

Nice job posting the ferry schedule Bob. The easiest way to remember it is that the ferry leaves for island at 20 minutes TO the hour (going TO the island), and leaves the island at 10 after the hour.

It should be noted that there are 2 ferries, and during peak times, they don't stick to the schedule. If there are more vehicles on the dock than they can fit on the ferry, they float a load over to the island, come back, and load up again. They don't make you wait an hour for the next trip during peak times!

The ferry can handle 28 vehicles, and regularly carries loaded semis, busses, etc.

I ride the ferry all of the time for work and play, so just thought I'd put my 2 cents in!
