The latest update of vBulletin (our forum software) has broken the product we use to encode private messages before storing them in the database.
What does this mean? Basically, it means that the private messages will still be encoded in the database, but for some reason when you reply to a PM, the encoded version of the message will be quoted, rendering the quote unreadable.
I'm working on fixing it, but am having a hard time tracking down exactly which part of the code is causing the issue.
Until then, the best workaround is to copy and paste the quote (copy from the message before you reply to it).
