Default Silver Lake Dunes clean up

The Mid Michigan Four Wheelers will be holding our 12th annual Fathers Day weekend dune clean up on Sat. the 14th of June. We will be meeting at the exit hill & starting the clean up at 11:00. All you will need to join in is a desire to have a clean place to play and be willing to pick up some junk. Prizes will be awarded after the last bag of trash is brought to the pile. Every year we get a truck load of trash in the 2 hours we do the clean up. This years sponsors are listed below.

    Craig's Cruisers
    Mac Woods Dune Rides
    Parrot's Landing
    The Sands Restaurant
    The Point General Store
    Silver Lake buggy Rentals

If you can't make it for the clean up, please help support our efforts by doing business with these people and tell then you appreciate their support of the sport. If you do business with people who don't support the cleanup ask them to get involved, they can call me at 989-642-5461. Thanks,Ron

    Dang it!
I've been RSVP'd for a wedding that day for months already.

    This a FANTASTIC event!
I tried to make last year's and had a scheduling conflict too.

I organize one in another area every year and know participation is always a big question mark and absolutely key to success.

I swear I'm going to make one sooner or later.
I just wish it was sooner!

I hope anyone who doesn't already have plans will make it a point to help you out!

    Leaving a good impression.

I'm heading up to Silver Lake this weekend anyway so I'll give a hand for a couple hours. There's plenty of wheelin to do the rest of the day. We have several of us from 4given4x4 heading up Friday morning so I'll see if I can get some of them to join me also.

I posted the clean up on 4given4x4 and I have at least 3, maybe 4 others that are going to help now also.

    Thumbs up

Thanks to all who made it for the clean-up. We picked up a truck full of trash in about 2 hours. Those who couldn't make it this year please try to support our sponsors & tell them why you are doing business with them. The clean up for next year will be on the Sat. on Fathers Day weekend. Thanks again to all who helped. Ron

Roger, it was very nice of your group to lend a hand. That was the first time I have encountered your club & you have made a friend. Thanks again. Ron

Thanks Ron. I'm glad we could help with the cleanup. It was nice meeting all of you this weekend. I was happy with 4given4x4 stepping up and bringing 6 rigs to help.
