Gotta keep the spouses happy so they let us out to play after the work is done. I always camp where there are flush toilets and showers to keep my wife happy, she appreciates it and lets me go play without complaining. I agree with BlueJay, Happy wife = Happy life.

I should make it. Just took it around the block and it didn't blow up. I only ended up with one unkown connector and one extra nut. Check engine light is still on, but I keep looking and the engine's still there, stupid light. I'll grab works pop up tent thingy cuz the computer is telling me its going to rain somewhere in Michigan...

Maria: Can we ride in your Jeep again? Please!?
Lily: My tooth feels loose, can you use your tools to pull it out again?
Juliet: Can you carry me upside down to bed?!
    Violet: Cookie?

Thanks to everyone who helped scramble, fry, boil, serve, scrub and/or hang out with us - and especially thanks to our new friends Jim and Jeff Barstow and the "Road Kill Grill".

We had more volunteers than we probably needed, but I want thank all of you for your time and effort. I had several people comment to me about the sheer numbers of GLFWDA members that turned out to help, so we made a good impression.

And if you want dedicated helpers for your next event, get the gang from SoFO. Due to a miscommunication about our start time, when I arrived in the kitchen area at 6:30 there were already 1/2 dozen SoFO members hard at work over 2 grills, about 3/4 way through a 15# box of bacon. They had arrived at 5:45am and went to work.
After the food was cooked, they disappeared into the night......
