Badlands Jan 19th and 20th

Last minute and very cold trip to Badlands (Attica, IN).

We will be there the 19th and 20th.

my rig is parked for the winter except for in extreme emergency. but thx for announcing the trip and inviting all the members

. i realize it wont always work out, but if you know about a trip like this in advance pm it to lucas and he can print it in the boondocker calendar. have a great time, be safe!

Thanks for the invite. My Jeep is also parked for the winter (in a nice heated garage. Gotta take care of the baby!!)

Is it bad that only my Jeep and my motorcycle stay in the garage and everything else is out in the snow??????

Yeah.....what happened Rob?? Don't tell me one of your earthmovers fell off that triple-axle double-tired implement trailer that you tow!!!!

Seriously though....I hope that it was nothing major, and that everyone was OK.

So....when you're done wheeling for the day, give us an update!!!

Nothing too bad. The roads were just so nasty, we had three rigs on the trailer so the weight was definitey helping with traction but it was just white knuckle driving from Lansing to Kalamazoo (and beyond) so we stopped for the night in Kazoo. It really wasn't much better in the morning and had slippery, snowy roads almost until we hit I-65 in Indiana. I think taking I-69 down would have been better atleast we would have driving out of the storm (well, maybe).

I pinched a trans line, fixed that and the next day sheared a bolt on the rear t-case yoke and lost a drive shaft, that pretty much did me in 'cause it was too cold for me to want to screw with it.

Indy's rig did awesome. It was Timmy's first time out with his and did extremely well. Very well built rig.
