hey, I'm looking for some people to check out a new ORV park in the Midwest.
It is Cliffs ORV park in Marseilles IL.

If there's interest, I'd like to get a small group together May 1, Saturday.

    Later,
    Kenton

Could you give a few more details about the park.... type of terrain, size, requirements if any, fullsize friendly, etc.

    thanks!

Would love to go but can't make it. How far is it from Chicago?
If you go, please post back here a report on your trip. Maybe something we could get a group to do later again in the year.

    Hey guys,

web site when it opens will be http://www.thecliffsinsaneterrain.com/
    Some pics: http://www.myxj.net/trail/The_Cliffs_4-4-04/
    Park #: 815-795-5200
    Directions:
-Get on I80 and head towards exit for Seneca. Exit 105.
-Get off at the Seneca exit and head South.
-Follow this thru Seneca about 5 miles
-About 2 miles after Seneca you will see large overhead power lines cross
over the road (start paying attention now). The kind with big metal towers.
-You will cross a small creek, just past the bridge is the parking lot on the right
-This is the place. If you get to the town of Marseilles, you went too far (turn around and go back a couple of miles).

I haven't been there yet, so its a new experience for me.

    Let me know,
    Kenton

It is about 300 acres. It is very hilly, densely wooded in most places except where trails have been cut. It has an easy (Green) trail that roughly rings the property, with Blue and Black trails coming off it. Short wheelbase vehicles that don't mind scratches and dents will have fun-- no place on the property is off-limits. Make any trail you wish (no chainsaws allowed without permission).

Very few rocks (for now), but it has many hills (some steep), ravines, some mud, a creek...
