    do you guys know if anyone makes a harness style seat belt that i can use with my stock yj seats?

    I think you have to have slots in the seats. I know you have to have a bar behind you for proper mounting.

    yes, improperly mounted harnesses can do more harm than good.... your seats need to support them or you could have other issues as well.

    Yeah, any harness will pretty much work with the seat, but you need to have a steel frame that won&#39;t collapse if you&#39;re in an accident (will compress your spine)

    Not sure about with the stock seat. but ya might try Beard, or Jazz and send them a email and ask I dont think the frame of the track will be a issue but the seat itself will. The mounting locations in the floor also should be reinforced. and more so if glass tub.

    Remember, the shoulder straps don&#39;t get mounted to the floor. They have to be up by your shoulders or it will compress your spine as stated above.

    so, could i attaeh the shoulder straps to the roll bar above my head/shoulder? or any mounting suggestions?

    If you have a full steel frame seat then it doesn&#39;t really matter where you attach the shoulder harnesses. If you do not, then the best place to mount them is to a bar a couple inches lower than your shoulders.

    I would not recommend mounting them to the roll bar above your head.
