Boy, I hope this can work out. For those of you that have thought about this, I already had conversation with Marv about a GL sponsored event. The issue is that Marv wants to make this open to anyone and our policy would require everyone being a GL member. And yes, there is the $5 event fee that could be paid but I agree with Marv that he should make this as "non political" as possible.

Although I do not plan to compete, I hope to go and watch some of you beat the heck out of your rig!

You can also check with Heritage Insurance out of Saginaw. They write Albright Shores policy. They have also been a GL insurer in the past. I cant remember the guys name there but he has an extensive competition and ORV background. He is also responsible for the closing of the Lame Duck area to ORV's.

    Does Al Weaver sound right?

Yup, thats the guy. And he was working on behalf of the MUCC when he got the Lame Duck area closed to motorized traffic.

Bastard! That was my favorite area off M61 to wheel 10 years ago. It closed about a year after I started wheelin' there. Still make me mad to this day.

Stupid question but what is MUCC?
