Calendar

We have a calendar why doesn't the association use it? It would be so much easier if when an event or meeting is posted that they link it to the calendar. I think it is easier to search what is coming up via the calendar than trying to sift through all the threads and sections to find what is coming up.

Used to years ago. Our forum doesn't seem to be important now that we have books of faces.

I have books of faces and still have trouble keeping track of everything that is going on. I use our clubs private forums calendar to keep track of what they have going on. It would be nice to be able to do the same thing here for what GLFWDA has going on.

Facebook is a mess for sure. Social stuff seems great, but for planning things and posting information it fails completely. Reminders, save the date, hey look at this it works. The date, location, time of a Quarterly Meeting at the end of January, not so much.

I'm for the calendar, but it would be nice if it linked someway with the forums. I use Tapatalk about 95% of the time and it only shows active posts. If I have to dig, forget it. If I need to link direct to a calendar Web page, I could go that way too...

I'm slowly moving away from Facebook back to forums and e-mail.

I like the idea of using the calendar here would really help me out.
