This was a great idea and hope there are more of them. Suggestion to have the webinars during the on site quarterly meetings. Bob indicated that would be a good idea providing there is connectivity. Thanks for setting this up.

Ended up at the Funeral home tonight. I wanted to give it a whirl.

Thanks to those that do all the hard work.
This worked out great. I agree that the webinar should be used in conjunction with the physical meetings if possible. I know it would be easier for me to attend more frequently.

Thanks to all who put this together. Would definitely attend next quarter if available via web.
I just logged in, what is supposed to happen?
Maria: Can we ride in your Jeep again? Please!?
Lily: My tooth feels loose, can you use your tools to pull it out again?
Juliet: Can you carry me upside down to bed?!
Violet: Cookie?

I think that this format worked out very well. Aside from having the meeting virtual, doing this during the week helped for me to be able to attend. I think that people are home more often during the week and that will help when having a virtual only meeting.
Also, agree that having a webinar in combination with the physical meetings will help others to attend. The difficult part of this will be making sure that that the mic/phone system will be able to clearly pick up the person speaking. Suggestion would be to have a mic that can be used or have folks that talk move to a spot so everyone can hear (i.e. when members are having discussion).

You all have me confused now. I log in and nothing. I call and nothing. Its not 10 yet, so what the heck is supposed to happen? Is this just a group phone call thing?

OK, never mind. I thought we could join anytime between 8 and 10! Well, can someone post the link to the audio file or the copy of the meeting?

The meeting was open from 8 to 10, but we wrapped up a little after 9pm. Since the meeting was ended no one else could join.

We recently purchased a small laptop computer, projector and screen for our 4WD awareness training, and also to provide a semi-permanent home for all of our data files (instead of pieces and parts across the state on 8 different computers). It seems like at a location with decent Internet/WiFi connectivity this could serve as our link to a webinar in conjunction with the meeting. A better microphone/speaker would be in order, but the slides could be shared both with the live and Internet audiences, and should allow connected members to participate. We would have to address voting issues, however.
