We're headed north Thursday afternoon.

The question is ... will there be SNOW?

It seems last week it all went to the East coast.

See ya on the trails!

Okay, Doug and Greg where are your pictures?

I blew my front diff on Friday afternoon, so I didn't get a lot of pictures; in fact, I didn't get any.

Yea, bummer on the H2.
Looked for you at the banquet for the Rest Of The Story?

I have a few pics ... don't hold your breath until I get them posted.

We had a GREAT time! THANKS for the tug on Saturday, Greg!

Lot's of ice just south of us. We drove through it for about an hour at 30 MPH on Thursday afternoon before it switched over to snow about 5 miles south of West Branch. 100,000 without electricity in mid-Michigan. Did that affect anyone here? How about Ironman?

It was -3 on Friday morning and there were a few Jeeps that needed a pull around the hotel to get started. It reached about +9 but with a -20 wind chill! About 6-12 inches of snow in the woods and 2-4 feet where it would drift in the clear cut areas. Saturday morning brought a -2 and a high of 18. But the wheelin' was good and the folks we wheeled with were GREAT.

The only breakage in out group was a front axle in a parking lot, when we stopped for a potty break for the ladies at an outhouse. They had not plowed the lot and the boys were churning their way through the deep stuff.

Sure beat sitting around with a tie around your neck! Sorry Jim!
Looking forward to 2007!

Don't really know. The Front Diff Housing cracked at the Pinion. I wasn't getting on it, I don't believe the wheels were bouncing at the time. Witnesses said the right front tire turned outside, shuddered, came back to straight and we all heard the CLUNK! I thought is was just the half shaft initially....short weekend.
