We have a couple tractors and at least one if not two dump trailers coming.

Ok Pat, Katie and I are in. Leaving from Pinckney around 6 or so. Can bring some hand tools etc. Looking forward to lending a hand.
We will most likely head home same night.

A HUGE THANK YOU! to all of our volunteers! Also a special thanks to Deuce x 1/2, Fullsize4life, frdtrckmnrich and ksejeeper for hooking us up with the equipment. We couldn't have done it without you!

This was a very large undertaking consisting of blocking illegal side trails and filling/retop-coating a pretty substantial hill. The road is open for use, but please Tread Lightly! The fresh work is still soft and needs time to settle in to place.

Here's what a local land owner has posted over on facebook:
Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association ... saved our beautiful seasonal road (56th Street). It was so badly destroyed by the top layer being graded off leaving sand and an invitation to recreational vehicles to destroy the path. Now it is beautiful, peaceful and thanks to those hard working GLFWDA members.
