Question Drummond Island camping and trails

I am looking to head up to Drummond for my first time this spring with some friends. Can anyone recommend a campground that 4x4 friendly?

Any tips or trail info about the Island would be really helpful.

Papin's and Wa-Wen are two that my club uses when on the Island.

Here's the Drummond Island website for more info:

It also has a good map of the Route system too.
ALWAYS REMEMBER that in Michigan it has to either be a 2 wheel drive Forest Road or a marked and signed ORV ROUTE to be legal. If it's not signed as an ORV ROUTE and isn't passable by a stock 2wd vehicle, it is NOT legal to be there. Also, PLEASE be sure NOT to use the ORV Trails as these are intended for bikes and quads, NOT Jeeps and trucks.

Make sure to stop at the Bear Track Inn too. The owner, Steve, is the biggest reason we were able to get the Route designated. Having breakfast or lunch at his place makes a good thank you. He's also your BEST source for up-to-date information on route conditions too.

We stay at WaWen - tent sites, RV sites and several cabions to accomodate the travel needs of a group all at one place is pretty handy.
