I also use axle straps and rachet straps to tie the Jeep down. Qucik and easy to get things tied down and less messy compaired to rusty chains :)
Great job on the build. Looks good.
I have the Rockhard Evap Skid Plate and only reason I went with that was because my local Jeep dealer advised me against relocation of the evap canister. Only reason I chose the skid plate route was...
Yea it basically doesn't fix anything, but gives you a warning light on the dash that your tranny temperature or fluid is really hot. I have a 2008 Rubicon and never had a problem with mine so far...
There is also a recall on the 08's with auto transmission to fix the issues with possible tranny fluid fires. No big problem to take it to the dealer if it has not been fixed for the recall. Mine was...
Bummer.... Won't be able to meet up with you guys again this year because we will be at Silver Lake from July 23 till August 1st.
I had a chevy s10 blazer that picked up noise from the fuel pump. I had to move antenna and coax away from rear of the blazer where the antenna was picking up noise from the electronic fuel pump....

There are a lot of places with 4x4 access geocaches around. Search just about any area and you will find some out in the woods. A few months ago was up in Cadillac area 4x4ing and caching with some...
Looks like a lot of fun. Might have to make a trip out there when I get some free time.
Welcome...
Yea i'm over there and JKOwners on a regular basis along with a few other Jeep forums under the same name.
Where is SnoFari being held at? Just curious...
Welcome aboard over here also :)
I was at Rocks and Valleys in Harrison, MI this last weekend and there was a little bit of change, but still a lot of green in the trees in that area. There were some trees that were changing, but...
I also live about 30 minutes from there and may have to run out there to visit to see.
Anyone been out to the Mounds lately to see if this project has been started or have any new information on the progress of phase 2 at the Mounds? Just curious...
I think that would be a great thing to do. I'd come down and support another fellow Marine if I didn't have a work commitment that weekend.
