I saw a post or email somewhere relaying that United supports their effort, but can't find it now that I'm looking for it.

The last reply from Carla that I read, said she was trying to make contact with who/whom exactly is "access-advocates". We need to bump Carla again to see what more she has discovered ( I did not find any additional updates on the UFWDA website this morning).

Here is Jim M response. So I believe we are still waiting on United, who is waiting on their response.
