The volunteer proposal has been approved by the state!

The next step is to sign up for one of the training dates listed in the link below and register for exact dates and times that you’re willing to volunteer.

Also make sure that you fill out the VOLUNTEER RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY form attached to this email. This form must be filled out and turned in before you can volunteer. Feel free to turn the form in when you attend your training session.

BE ADVISED YOU MUST ATTEND A TRAINING SESSION WITH THE DNR AND HAVE A VOLUNTEER RELEASE WAIVER ON FILE IN ORDER TO VOLUNTEER...

We will be working alongside the DNR Staff to assist in parking, educating users on new policies and developing a safe, efficient traffic flow. We have developed 4 shifts per weekend days between May 9th and September 13th. This will drop to 2 shifts (shift A and B only) on low volume Sundays, Labor day, and Memorial Day. Shift A will be 6:30-10am, Shift B will be 10am-1pm, Shift C will be 1-4pm and Shift D will be 4-7pm. This is a preliminary schedule and may change as needed.
