That thing is ugly.........I know that pic is the same as the concept one that appeared a few years ago. I wonder if it will still look that way?

I've seen another pic of it somewhere else and it looked more like the old FJ's than the one in the pic.

I am sorry to report that the concept and the real thing look the same. I've been seeing it for about a year and have not grown to like it.


It is totally a marketing "image" type rig aimed at youth market. I'll keep my old FJ40.

Capability should be OK. It has Tacoma/4runner underpinnings which means locking rear diff!!

Price is supposed to be mid 20k. We'll see.

I saw that in a mag. Very nice ride. Very expensive. All of his restos are very expen$ive. Top notch work!!, but $$$$$
