"More fuel efficient by up to 0.65 gallons per 1,000 miles"

Wow. Changing tire pressure would have more of an effect on MPG.

The article s about front wheel drive, but expect to see more and more of this on newer rear wheel drive vehicles. All of the manufactures are starting to use new technology on drivelines in general. So far I have seen eveything from an aluminum D/S that has the whole tube splined to act as the articulation slip, to Ford using a non-replacable staked in u-joint on the F-150. It is hard to keep up with it sometimes..I look at them and figure out ways to replace the weak parts with good ole tried and true parts that have been working just fine for over 30 years. :D
