Hey all,
I got the chance to hit the trail (lightly) for the 4th weekend. I was up in Atlanta, MI and ran Atlanta, backroads in Montmorency County, and the North Branch Route of Crapo Creek and Big Bear Trails.
For everyone who runs Atlanta Trails knows that it is not a hard trail, but with all the rain it was a little nastier than normal with more rocks than normal and hard packed. The North Branch of Crapo Creek and Big Bear Trials was even easier than Atlanta, pretty flat and smooth for a trail. The Backroads (County Roads) of Montmorency County were fun in the rain, nothing extreme, just lots of beautiful country that I never really took the time to explore. Overall I had a great and relaxing time over the weekend (didn?t get stuck or break anything ). Also wanted to know if anyone else got the chance to run some trails over the weekend.

The Vice Pres. and I, plus our families went to Paragon adventure park in PA.

The park was awsome with fantastic rockcrawling! It is a must do GL run for sure!

Who is up for it?

It wont be this year!

I am leaning towards next spring sometime.

Plan for a days drive there and a days drive home and for 2-3 days of wheeling.

Take off a fri. and mon. wheel sat. and sun?

Maybe this is something that could be talked about with the trail ride committee for a future trip????

Went up around Cadillac wednesday to saturday. Left from the trailhead north of Manton-nice orv route did about 15 or so miles. Went out to tippy dam and poked around on the seasonal roads. Relaxing, easy and enjoyable time. The beginning of the week we did a lot of b-b-q'n and drinking on the lake, so it was nice to chill out for 10 days. :D
