H.R. 765 Would Establish the Nellis Dunes National Off-Highway Recreation Area
Please urge your Representative to support H.R. 765, the "Nellis Dunes National Off-Highway Recreation Area Act of 2009." H.R. 765 would create an OHV recreation park in Clark County, Nevada and protect access to 10,000 acres of BLM land by designating it as the Nellis Dunes National Off-Highway Recreation Area.
The House Parks, Forests and Public Lands Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the legislation on November 5th. As a constituent with a member on the Subcommittee it is imperative that you weigh in. While this bill would ensure access in NV, it is important for OHV enthusiasts everywhere to show Subcommittee members your support for access and for legislation that protects opportunities for motorized recreation.
Please send a letter to your Congressman supporting H.R. 765.

Please Support H.R. 765
Dear [Decision Maker],
As a constituent I write to urge you to support H.R. 765, the "Nellis Dunes National Off-Highway Recreation Area Act of 2009."
H.R. 765 would create an off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation park in Clark County, Nevada and protect access to 10,000 acres of BLM land by designating it as the Nellis Dunes National Off-Highway Recreation Area.
OHV recreation is a fun, family friendly activity that is compatible with the BLM's multiple-use management mandate. Designating the Nellis Dunes as an OHV recreation area will ensure that a safe, environmentally sustainable riding area is available for responsible motorized recreationists for years to come.
Thank you for your consideration. Please support H.R. 765.
Sincerely,
