I just wanted to share some good news.

My daughter Amanda received a call from Eastern Michigan University today informing her that she won the Presidential Scholarship. This is full tuition room and board at the "Honors College" http://www.emich.edu/honors/about.html

She has worked so hard in high school and for her to receive this $64,000 award is a very proud moment for our family. So I just wanted to share this great fortune with everyone and a big debt of thanks to God who seems to continue to watch over our family.

Big relief for my jeep fund. Now I am planning my trip to Drummond Island for the quarterly. I am also planning a week at Silver lake in July. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She did not get any of that from me. I hated math and science. I was more of a shop kind of guy. We are having a lot of fun planning her next year in college.
