If so, I'll need to draft a pit crew. HA!

Look forward to seeing you.

Anyone thinking of being there early Friday / Thursday night?

We are still trying to decide if we are leaving Thursday night to get as far as Indian River or Mackinac for the night, or if we are going to wait until Friday morning to head up.

I am in the same boat, I don't know if I want to take a whole or half day Friday yet. If I take a whole day, then I might as well head up Thursday night...

I just had to post we can't make it. On the way home from Kentucky, Steve was towing the jeep behind the rv and somehow it slipped into gear and blew the transfer case!!!!!! Because of the skid plate it blew up through the drivers side floor pan. The insurance just gave the go ahead to fix it but it will take 4-6 weeks to get the transfer case........bummer we were looking forward to seeing everyone and going to Canada too. :wah:

Thanks for your input!
These are our Assocations where each of YOU has a say and a VOTE.

You wanted it that way and we responded to YOUR requests, now we are asking for some direction as to your wishes for the future.
Registration from MI was pretty slim. :banghead:

Perhaps you want ALL the trails closed and zoning limits put on ALL private property? Anyways we are listening ...

We stay at WaWen.......nice place and very nice owners

We talked to Pat Kelly before heading up, and he offered to let us camp at his new campground. Unfortunately they are scrambling to get the main building done before his daughter's July wedding, and they still have not finished the camping pads. We decided to go elsewhere so his construction crew wouldn't have to go out of their way to run us electric out to a site, and we remembered your WaWen recommendation. Great place, great people, reasonable prices, and lots of extras - canoes and kayaks to borrow, fishing boats to rent, power washer, even a repair facility on site.
