View Full Version : ORV Park Ordanance Adopted!

Bundy Hill Off Road
November 20th, 2009, 01:23 PM
Last night at the Somerset Township Meeting, the Board Voted to adopt the New ORV Ordinance in Somerset Township.
The New Ordnance Language will now run for 9 days in the local news paper. If there is no opposition, or changes requested by the community, Bundy Hill Off Road Park can apply for it's permit on the 10th day. At that time we must submit a Site Plan along with the permit application. The Township Supervisor will look it over, and it will go to the Township Board to be voted on for approval for the permit at the December Township Meeting.
If/and when it's voted upon, we should have our permanent operating permit.
It was a great victory last night, but only the first of a few that we needed to get past.
We're by no means out of the woods yet.

Thank You so much for all that have supported us in getting to this point.
Keep us in you thoughts going forward, and be ready to go again if needed.

Thanks,
The Staff & Owners of
Bundy Hill Off Road Park.

Putting the finishing touches on the Site Plan today. Ton's of work!
It will be turned in along with an application for Site Plan Review and a fee.
This will then be reviewed by the Township Supervisor.
When/if he approves the site plan, we can submit an application for our Permit, along with another fee.
The info will then be given to the Township Board, as well as the Township Supervisors recommendation to grant or deny the Permit.
The next Township Board Meeting on December 19th. At that time, the Board has the option of voting to grant our permit.

Thanks everyone for all the support!
