Victor and I have been talking and we've decided that because the Trolls are not having a formal
Spring Opener. We've decided to open our weekend trail ride to whoever would like to join us.
We will be wheeling the 5, 6, and 7 of May out of Blueberry. If there is enough people who show up
we will be taking multiple runs out. I will be leading a run through Trestle Trail one day. This is not
an official event, just some friends getting together to go wheeling.

I've got it on my calendar! There would be much less traffic than trying anything during Memorial Weekend!

What are the trails like? My TJ is armored and I have a front locker but it's still at stock height.

Zookeeper, what tires are you running?
The terrain is tough. Early spring will probably have alot of mud & the mud has rocks in it so it can not be attacked at hight speed. In my opinion, a 31" tire is a minimum.
It is on my calendar!

I also have a winch, forgot to mention that. But I'm running 30x9.50 BFG All-Terrains. Sounds like I should wait on a trip to the Great White North, eh?
Thanks for the info.

I guess I can make it. I might even lead the lost boys/wolf creek pass trail system.
As for 30" tires....It will be sloppy at that time of year. There may even be snow if this winter thing keeps up!!!

I think part of the plan was to go out and play along the road with the skidder trails. (no name intentionally) Don't need spare tires & all the extra weight.
I am also up for out of state stuff. Plan something!!
If I get the trans back in I would be interested in the 30th. But as long as it is out (again) I am redoing the trans cooler, lines, and a new trans cross member/ mount.

OK people, you wanted more rides on the calander! Dice and I figured since so many people are heart broke about Spring Opener not happening this, we would start something else that might give you a chance to run in some snow. At least it should be a spring run with no BUGS! And it has no entry fee! Just what you asked for, No fee, No prizes, No awards, Just wheeling! Yes it is Canada. No you don't have to be a Great Lakes member to go.
Most of you only go to Canada for Gitchee Gummee, if that. This is another chance to experience Canada at a different time of year.
I would recomend 31" mud terreans as a minimum, maybe 33's. Lockers and winches are HIGHLY RECOMEMDED!
This is not a Great Lakes sanctioned event.
Any questions?
Who's up for it?
Pat, we need to call and see if the house will be vacant by then.
