Well whaddya know......right there, smack dap in the middle of the front page of todays Cheboygan Daily Tribune..............

A full color picture of our very own EVIL QUEEN with all of her jack-o-lanterns!! Who knew that she was a master pumpkin carver????

I wish I was more techno-savy. I'd scan the article and post it up! I know how to scan, but I can't seem to figure out how to post pictures, avatars, or any of that cool stuff!!

Nice job EQ - the carvings look great! You are definitely talented!

On a side note.....what's your Jeep doing sitting in that lot in Cheboygan? It's been there unmoved for a couple of weeks!!! Inquiring minds want to know.....

(Really I just want to put an "ABANDONED VEHICLE" sign on it!!) :lmao:

Lots of people carve pumpkins for Halloween, but almost none are as serious about it as Pam East. She begins carving in early September, and usually does around 100 pumpkins. The elaborate designs make her carvings truly unique. East, who owns the Dam Site Inn with her husband, Ray, began carving pumpkins around 20 years ago. After moving up north from downstate, she took her young daughter to a pumpkin patch and told her to pick one out. Pam also decided to get a pumpkin, but couldn’t limit herself to just one. “We came home with a truckload full, probably around 30,” East remembers. “I didn’t know what to do with them all, so I figured I would carve them.” That first year, East carved traditional jack o’lantern faces, until one of the Dam Site Inn customers brought her a pumpkin carving kit complete with tools and patterns. The next Halloween, East began creating much more detailed carvings.

She's trying to get the tranny fixed, but AJ had a heart attack, so things are moving a bit slow at the shop.

Let's trick or treat at her house!!
