LAST CHANCE FOR CPSC COMMENT
December 13th, 05 is the final day of public comment on proposed changes on recommendations of Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Last time they made proposals, 3 wheeled ATV's were banned. At issue today, is the banning of anyone under age 16 from riding ATV's. Anyone owning an ATV with youths operating, are strongly encouraged to make written comment to the CPSC.
Suggestions you may wish to consider in your comment;
1. Establish a formula for "size fits", versus age.
2. Mandatory training with parental participation.
3. Daytime running lights for greater visiability on trail.
Send your comments to, cpsc-05@cpsc.gov, be sure to title your comments "ATV ANPR". Any new standards adopted by CPSC could be in affect for perhaps a decade, your comments are very important.
