Blowing up Trails??

Did anyone catch what the state/gov/etc is doing out west to trails that are getting out of hand?

They are blowing up the rocks!!

From reading it sounds like the clubs couldn't get together to combat the problem of people creating bypasses and people going around further and further to not have to drive over a part of the trail. So, someone came in and blew up the obstacles so there is now only one way to go....thru it!

I don't know if was posted yet....

Our own DNR done this in Cheboygan county a few years back.

A trail that had a couple of solid bottom water holes on it was completely obliterated by bull dozers.
They went as far as knocking down several large pines and pushing them into the trail and then making very large burms. Needless to say it was 10 times more damage than any vehicle could have done, even a tank. :BangHead:

At the time a memebr of the Trolls took photo's but I am unsure if he ever done anything with them.

I have since told myself if I ever run into this again I will be documenting it and sending the pics to everyone that will listen! I suggest everyone do the same!

What is really scary about this is that it seemed like no one even saw it coming. Maybe a little bit more communication would be in order before blowing things up. :o
