I didn't realize who I was passing until it was too late! It was nice to see fellow glfwda members, but sad to see a rig on the side of the trail with troubles :(
I was up with some friends and camping on our property there. We did try to go to Turtle Ridge but some Hummers closed us out ahahahhaahhaha
We still had a nice time on some great trails though!!!!

So you seen some one having trouble on the trail, and just kept motoring? Or am I reading something wrong here?

You are making an incorrect assumption, you know what they say about assuming :bootyshake:
The hummer was abandoned...we passed them later on the trail. I think it would have been bad manners to drag their rig out when there was no one with it. Or am I wrong  Would have been embarassing if it was just parked ahahahahahhhh
Who was it that stopped me about my GLFWDA magnet? Was that you Diesel? That was funny!
So sorry to hear about all your troubles, Bob. I hope some of the trip was a nice time for you and your family:thumb:

The week couldn't have been better as it goes to my family. Normally my wife and I take a few kids and do the the HUMMER Event. This year we opted to take all six kids and enjoy more of what the Upper Pennisula has to offer prior to the event.
As for my truck...leaving from Chuck's Place Friday Night I developed a squeal which emanated from the left front hub and I wasn't entirely certain if it was the bearing or simply a brake squeal. Lead a night run, lead a sunrise run and about mid-morning Saturday the squeal demanded my attention to which I deduced was in fact the wheel bearing in the left front hub. As I was leading trails, I opted to park my truck so those behind me (15 trucks) could continue to enjoy the day and not spend a couple of hours watching me replace the hub (yes, I had a spare).
As we finished trail riding for the day, we returned to my truck, so I could drive it out of the woods. I drove about 60 feet when my forward momentum ceased. The right front half shaft (yes, I had a spare) had disintegrated and left me with no choice but to drive the truck in low lock so I could get to better place to extract my truck from the forest.
We had our awards dinner than a group of us returned to get my truck in the dark.

That is why I asked, to clear up what I was reading instead of just assuming.

You don't know who I hate or don't hate. And you shouldn't assume things like that.:thumb:

I really try not to involve myself with this kind of thing on the boards anymore, but Tim, it was a legitimate question asked in a respectful way. I had the same thoughts when I read EQ's post. Any number of people would have asked the question.
EQ answered the question and cleared things up.
Anybody else looking at this thread, not knowing the history, would see it that way. The only indication of back story drama is from your post.
Oh, and glad to hear everything worked out.

Does this really need to be discussed any further?
Let's move on.
