It's actually not broke. Yet. I try to BUILD (read: not buy) a strong enough rig to take what little I give it! lol
You're right though. If only 2wd, you, Dan and I would all be on the same playing field! :flipoff:

Actually I'm considering going to chromoly's in front, but thought before I spent that $ I'd see what was out there for a swap in D44.

Then you'll just be chunking out R&P's instead of axles......and be just as pissed off....with less money in your pocket. Been there, done that.

44's are easy to narrow & Moser cuts and resplines axles pretty cheap.

talk to jeepaholic on gl4x4, im pretty sure he has one for sale that is already cut to cj widetrack width. someone on there did, im pretty sure it was him.
i didnt catch a price though.

Got a couple 44's out of a Early Bronco driver drop $300
Also a FW 44 out or a early J10 3.73's & a 44 rear to match $100 for the set.

I've got a full width dana 44 from a 1979 Jeep J 10. Passenger side drop.
