Just wanted to announce that the Troll Four Wheelers will be hosting their 5th Annual Fall Color Tour!!!!!

This years tour will take place on Saturday, October 15th.

We will meet at 10:00 am at the home of Vic & Tina Brasseur in Indian River (7200 Bunker Road).

This is a fun FREE event that is geared towards anyone with ANY kind of 4x4! It's mostly just an easy, scenic drive through the woods to peep at the leaves.

As usual, we will have a "special" run for anyone who actually wants to get dirty!

Otherwise.....tell all of your friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. about the Tour. It is an excellent opportunity for the "nonwheelers" to get out in their stock 4x4 and actually get it in the dirt. They don't have to worry about getting stuck, broken, or scratched up!!

We do this, in part, to show a positive side of the 4x4 community to those folks who wouldn't normally go "off road" in their rigs. And of course, it's still a lot of fun for those of us who actually use our rigs on a regular purpose!!!!

If anyone has any questions about the Tour, or if you need directions, just give me a call any evening at 989-732-5297.

Hope to see a bunch of you (and your friends) on the 15th!!!!

And bring a friend or two. Anyone who is thinking of fourwheeling.

With our daughters wedding coming up in a couple of weeks in D.C. and everything else that life has thrown on our plates lately, we regret to say that we will not be attending the Color Tour this year.

For everyone else, it is a good day of trail riding and seeing the colors with some good people. Don't expect anything real hardcore, just some nice Fall wheeling in Northern Michigan.

I'll be there! I am new to GLFWDA, but look forward to meeting some fellow wheelers! See you there...

I won't be there after all. You'll have lots of fun without me. I'm still less a front driveshaft on the XJ and now a rear end vibration has started. Someday I'll get it all fixed and ready for the trail again.

Ladies??? Is there likely to be a fairly reasonable turnout of women at this event? My spouse has limited interest (like NONE) if this is a "guy" thing, but if there will be a reasonable turnout of the fairer sex, she might consider coming along.

Hey Bruce
I will try and answer your question. There were normally lots of families(wifes and kids). This photo is from 2 years ago. Great scenery and people.

bwrettig : This run is very family friendly, and it's FREE! Many wives and kids come along.

Me: Mid-term or wheeling? mid-term or wheeling?

Nope. Looks like the mid-term. Have fun up there.

This will have more women than any other run you will go on, so your wife will have plenty of Party Lite, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, and picture cropping conversations

Just wanted to thank the Troll Four Wheelers for hosting their 5th Annual Fall Color Tour!!!!!

My family and I enjoyed the unique color tour.

I posted a few pictures in the gallery, but somehow I missed the opportunity to take pictures of the patchwork quilt of colors we saw; the wheelin' was good.

I want to apologize of taking off, and missing the fun. When you guys where fixing the Sami, I went an sat in the truck with the kids. My 4 year old informed me she didn't feel good and thought she had to through up. So I ran in town to the IGA/Carters(whatever it is) to get a pail and some paper towels. Which was a good thing as she threw up in the parking lot.

When I came back to Vic's the group was gone.....oh well. It probably wouldn't of been a good idea wheelin' all day with a sick kid. She didn't throw up anymore that day, so not sure what was up with her.

Glad to hear everyone had fun.

I had heard you were missed Mike!

Nobody knew where you went.

You get to go out so little that I feel really bad for you. :(

Mike wasn't just missed, we sent out a search party to try and find him.

Just for future reference Mike, I typically travel with kids and often times have those items that come in handy, but not something you would think to pack. It's like spare parts, if I have something you need, it's yours.

Besides, I would have loved to see the Explorer on the Seasonal Road we traveled. B)

One of my boys said he did not feel good half way thru the ride ...we keep "sickness bags" on hand for those reasons.

I have a few pic's I can post up tonight .

It was a good time once again and I got to take the grocery getter on some trails :)

ANd as a final note : this ride being the shortest , it was one of the most memorable and well worth ride drive up.
