ORV Plan (http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,1607,7-153-10365_15070-124024--,00.html)

Dear Mr. Radabugh,

The Great Lakes Fourwheel Drive Assoc. would like to be able to reach our
membership with the ORV study through our quarterly publication. This is
where we, GLFWDA, notify our members of upcoming legislation and important
information for them to act on.

With only a 30 day comment period for the ORV plan we are unable to reach
the majority of our members in a timely manner to allow them to make their
voices heard!

We would ask that the comment period be extended to follow the Federal
comment period standard of 90 days, this would allow for a wider and more
diverse range of comments.
Which can only benefit the ORV program as a whole!

I am sure the all organizations and users would benefit from an extended
comment period.

Thank you for your consideration,

Pat Kinne

Mr. Kinne,

I spoke with Mr. Ranney, Chair of the ORV Advisory Board yesterday about an extension. The Department will be adding 30 days to the comment period. A press release will go out next week and the web site will be updated with the new date in mid October.

Thank you for your interest and taking the time to write to me.

Jim

Get your comments in ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Follow the link at the top of the page, this study will take our MI ORV program into the future. This is the first study that has mentioned full size vehicles with any sort of effort put towards us possibly getting some sort of respect. To date there has only been 78 reponses to this, that is embarassing to say the least, for all of the states ORV users. Let's show them we care about where our ORV program goes in the future.

My comments will be posted here soon!

Thank you,
Pat
