Gitchee Gumee arrival times

I am planning my trip up to Canada and am trying to figure out when I should get there. My trip up over Labor Day weekend wasn't that productive being busted for 2 days, so I was hoping to do the same thing I did last year and get there earlier in the week.

So, just asking when people are thinking of heading up? I want to leave on Tuesday like last year and scout some on Wed and Thursday, but I'm not going alone. Wondering when people are planning on heading up.

For anyone who's already registed @ the campground and will be arriving after hours, they will post the campsite location on the front door so you can go straight to your site that night. The campground is almost entiriely booked.

I thnk we&#39;re coming up Wed night or Thur morning but we won&#39;t be of much value for scouting because I&#39;ll have the little red stock truck with me then. :<(

Soooooooo, are there gonna be runs on Friday, or just Saturday and Sunday morning? I dunno how this thing works.

Tim, runs will be Friday and Sat.....and maybe a quick run on Sun. Most people have a long trip home so they pack up first thing Sunday and hit the road&#33;

I&#39;m thinking of dragging the Jeep over there on thursday and parking it somewhere. Not sure if I&#39;m gonna camp or just come home each night. I was mostly wondering if most people were coming in on thursday or late friday. Need to know if I should take Friday off work.

Tim.....you definitely need to take Friday off from work, or you will miss one of the days of trail riding&#33;

The trail rides are taking place on FRIDAY and SATURDAY&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

Are you sure it was me? I just pulled into the field in front of the hotel last year. I have never driven in the back by the camp sites and I can&#39;t think of any good reason to drive around the hotel.

Or, were you in an RV in the front? If so, I&#39;ll do three laps this year. :P

No I was in the back camping.....I thought it was you, big dark Jeep, being towed by a Chevy......must of been someone else. :D

We agreed. Both Keith and myself are going to go up on Tuesday morning. I&#39;m still trying to steal my parents Yukon for the trip. My dad wants 300 bucks for the week.....talk about love&#33;&#33;&#33;

Changed all the oil after that Beaver dam lake crossing....only water contamination in rear axle and a little in the trans.

Johnny is cool, but I was probably dreaming about his Jeep and tow rig.....they actually make it to trailrides compared to my junk. angry angry

I&#39;m hoping everyone is having a great time. I&#39;m bummed that at the last minute I couldn&#39;t go.

My bosses told me last Friday that they couldn&#39;t give me thr & fri off work :<img src=:" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
Due to them being at a big Dow Chemical Convention, and us working two state Jobs and one County job that I needed to stay and over see all three.

Oh well, hopefully next year with some help from Ironman I&#39;ll be there.
