Does anyone think its possible to hydro lock your motor at Silver Lake Sand Dunes? :blink:

pretty much i have decided that if you dont some what use your head while offroading its possible to do anything

Yeah, I did hydro lock my motor. <_< The water was not deep, maybe 8" or so. Kind of a freak thing. :huh: I think I threw a rod in my 472c.i.d. Ford. :<img src=:" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> One of my buddies said a guy that he works with did the same thing. Needless to say I am going to protect my air cleaner a little better. I think the real problem is that I got a three inch body lift on it, so my inner fenders are up higher than they used to be, and it let the water in on me (the body lift was a new addition during the rebuild since I last wheeled the truck). So since I will have the motor out and apart, it will grow, going to rebuild it as a 514c.i.d. stroker motor. :D
Other than that I had a great time at the Dunes! :lol:
