Anyone need to do some group wrenching to get anything done this weekend?
I've got to do my electrical in the tow Jeep, but thats about it. Maybe switch a door out. Pull a spare radiator and water pump. Grab a spare tire. Get longer chains on the tow bar along with some bolts and weld in a gussett. Bleed the brakes again.
Figured if someone needs a hand with stuff, we could do the many hands makes less work thing...

I'm heading up to Pat's to do my axle swap. Think we got it covered.

Yeah, my list is a mile long, and on top of that I have to help Keith get his camper in the truck, modify his trailer etc...
Its going to be a long weekend!!

I have some specific areas to discuss. Since Pat won't be there next week, tonight would be great discussion!

just weld the tar out of them and be happy :D put a washer on the top of each cap the same size as the joint and weld them all the way around

I have taken a die grinder to notch a couple slots in the knuckle. This also helps get them out when a joint goes and spreads the yoke.

My D44 ujoints have held up so far, tack welded the caps on. I run a Detroit and 36's, but I'm VERY gentle on the throttle especially when turned!
Jim and Pat: I hope we have a good emap of all the trails already taken! I don't want to go on the same ones again!
A campfire sounds great right about now, I'll have to wait until Thursday!
Good luck all on the fixin'

Is it my fault you have to wait for one of your kids to get home so they can read it to you
