Would there be any benefit in highlighting somehow, the posts that current BOD members make? Kinda like make their post in blue with white lettering?

To me, it just seems that sometimes general membership thinks that posts by other members are "gospel" or the current direction of GL when its not.

?

Interesting idea Lucas!
I like it.
Kevin/Bob, is it possible for the eboard members to have a pre-set "format" when posting?
I would assume it's probably in the software somewhere?

The problem I see is what differentiates a member posting as a BOD member versus posting as a general member?

I woudln't want to see all Bob's posts highlighted.... :poke:

You'd need to have different user ID's (President, Vice President, etc.) in order to post as a BOD member vs your regular ID (Skip, Joe Jeep) and post as a general member.

I like the idea. A simple icon for the bod to go next to thier glfwda one, would do the trick.

Would it be sufficient just to change all of our title thingies to identify ourselves? Like Pat and I have already done. And Jarhead.

Easier on the eyes too for people who have different color themes on their computers.

On second thought, I think the posts themselves need to be tagged instead of the names above the avatars. This way the posts will be tagged with the author's title at the time the message was written, not the current title.

Why not have color coded options like here:
http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6

That way each BOD member can select to color it or not during each post?

That doesn't appear to work for replies to post's, only post originators. Unless I'm missing something.

Who cares about highlighting posts by the BOD anyway? They never post anything of relevance.:bootyshake:

You can make anything happen. In my use, it was pointless to have replies tagged.
