I'm done with this house work stuff. I HATE woodworking and drywall dust.
I'm about a day from pulling the tank off the back of the toilet and priming the bathroom, when I end up with a leak from my water heater vent. Then I go to simply fix the hard to shut off shower faucet only to spend 3 hours driving and calling to end up spending $3 at the LOCAL hardware store. I find dirt underneath our tub, they broke the cement slab up to drop the tub in lower.....now I know how the ants get in. I'm patching and painting our spare bathroom attached to our bedroom, so I get sanding dust all over the bedroom, I have white stuff still in my ears.
My wife wants to transplant hasta's, so I get to dig up our yard again to move about 20 of 'em, then I have yet to pick up the 20 bags of mulch and countless rocks for borders. She's itching for the patio to get finished, which needs sand and gravel and patio bricks (at least I already dug the area down last year). I've got to rent a trailer now when that job arrives.
I need to paint the bathroom, tile it, new fixtures, then after that put the wood floor in the bedroom, then attack the spare room we are turning into our daughters new bedroom before the second baby comes in Aug/Sept. which requires paint, drywall, closets, carpet. Then finally put the door on the baby's room and the second bathroom. Fix the leak above the hot water tank. Insulate the attic.
Thanks for the opportunity to vent. And thanks to Kelly for taking over the Boondocker cuz I don't have time left to even look at my Jeep.
