Yup, that's it. After counting all the money and subtracting the costs for food, we have $137.00 left over.
Karen (Grandcherokee) is rushing out to buy another $137.00 worth of toys & getting them to her local Marine Corp TFT group.:thumb:

This is awesome, I'm glad some little kids out there will get great toys for Christmas that would otherwise not get any.
So...
What was the final tally for the Toys For Tots donation?

What was the final tally for the Toys For Tots donation?
the final tally is kinda hard to figure. last i saw there was a full size 8 ft bed pick up heaped with toys. it completely filled the bed, and some in the cab. the guy seemd to be very happy with what he got donation wise.
that dont include the 137.00 of toys we just sent. i noticed there was some toys in there that were not of the 10.00 dollar kind expected. there was some pretty cool stuff in there. my wife picked out the 2 toys i brought. one for a boy, one for a girl. one barbie doll for a girl, and a remote controlled jeep wrangler for a boy. i didnt see any really cheap or lame toys. any of these would be welcomed by a kid christmas morning.
thx to all the people that gave from the heart, this means alot to a kid with no toys on christmas morning. even though i didnt get to wheel, this was well worth it. i cooked hot dogs for 4 hours with skip, but got to meet alot of new people. deeno was amazed by how many people stopped by to thank him, shake his hand, and ask to let us return. he said he usually dont even get a goodbye out of his normal customers. he was definately impressed. thx to all that showed up.

There was some leftover money from the OSTC Run that generated some more money after all was said and done from the food sale and small raffle.......So with it getting late.I went out and bought a few more toys to donate to the Toys for Tots.....Here is what I was able to get and a picture of the back door of the donation station where I dropped them off..
A big thank you GL4x4 And GLFWDA
.A total of around 175 toys were collected.....We are a pretty impressive group !
PS.. They still make Rock em Sock em Robots !!

I am sure there are a lot of happy kids after all those donated toys.:thumb:
Hey Pat, I was the one who gave you a wave :wave:from the dark red Tacoma that day. It was right where you first went in. You were headed to the parking area.
