These maps list where motor vehicles are allowed to operate.
If you know of a rustic, two-track road that is not on this map:
1) It is no longer legal to drive it
2) It CAN be submitted for inclusion on next year's map!
Contact landuse@glfwda.org (landuse@glfwda.org) for information and assistance.

I wonder how many, if any, miles of good trail were lost in this action.

How long should it take to download that map?
I'll try to get up there and find some more trails!

It took me 30-45 sec with a 3MB cable modem.
I have hard copies coming in the mail too.
I just called and asked for them.

They were very nice even go so far as to inform me that the maps will be reviewed for changes annually.

That's the $64,000 question.

Let us know what you find!
It could be interesting in its own right.
I know a little of the area around Brevort lake.
they list a two track that I often camp on.
They ALSO list a north/south trail intersecting it that I tried to go down last year but was WAY too "rustic" for the stock Cherokee.
