Deathdealer linked this on gl4x4:

http://www.glfwda.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=98&d=1195079672

clicking it from gl4x4 yields a "GLFWDA BANDWIDTH THEFT" image.

Is that necessary?

I got the same thing when I tried to link a picture from my GLFWDA picture album to another website. Made me feel dirty.

It doesn't for you, because you're probably already logged into GLFWDA.

Log out, and try.

I just did it again. And when I tried copying the banner to pirate, I got the same error.

fyi, I see three other people having this issue. All trying to gather information on snofari.

I tried it lodged in and I tried it logged out.
Both yielded a Snofari application sheet.

???

We certainly don't want anyone having any trouble!

Hmm, I didn't have any trouble either way, but this doesn't seem very good, wonder what that's all about.

Now it has defaulted to a sign in page. I'm not getting bandwidth theft anymore. Attachments must not be visable to "guests" meaning the only people who can see snofari information are GLFWDA members.

I'm only complaining, because people PM me no matter what goes wrong on gl4x4. :ahhh:

i gotta work on meeting the Saftey requirements so i can get in on some rides

some of the safety requirements i have seen enforced on some runs for anyone interested are tow points front and rear, a spare tire within 3 inches of actual tire size, a seat belt for every passenger, if your roof is removable you must have a roll bar, no alcohol in the vehicle, no unsecured objects in the vehicle, no straps on a hitch ball, no chains, no front lift blocks, and no pinion brakes. im sure there is a couple i missed.

if anyone has the official glfwda written copy handy list any i missed pls.

different clubs do it different ways sometimes, so be sure your not missing something b4 the event begins.

I deleted the image on pirate, because it looked stupid saying "DON'T STEAL GLFWDA'a BANDWIDTH" and I modified the attachment quota so deathdealer could just host his sign up sheet on gl4x4. It no longer links here.

FYI, if you're running linux with cpanel, log into your cpanel and copy/paste this:

2083/frontend/x/mime/hotlink.html

a :should be right before your 2083 (logged in non-server side) replace that link afterwards, and it will dump you into the hot link settings.

"HotLink protection is currently disabled." is what it says.

Any other ideas?

No problem. I can't fix it if I don't know about it.

Seems to be fixed now, but I'm still wondering about the bandwidth theft thing. There was something to prevent hotlinking images, but not documents (and it's been removed).
