I picked up a truck

Well I have been off here for a while, been busy... :blahblah::ahhh:

I am at the point where I can't keep driving the Scooby every day, been putting too many miles on it, and if I keep it up I will never sell it.

So as my budget got revised (no FJ), I picked up a used truck.

I got a 1997 Ford F-250 Heavy Duty 4x4, 4 door, short bed, Power Stroke. I have been running around all day so no pics of it yet, I will get them up soon.

I am getting 17MPG, its got lots of room for a big guy like me. Everything else I have looked at was too much $$$$$ or too small.

Don't know how much wheeling I will be doing with it, but I got to see what its limits are and go from there. Its just real heavy.

should be pretty good for alot of stuff in michigan. my v10 superduty has had no problems so far. a little nose heavy for the real ruff stuff. too heavy for alot of deep mud unless it gets huge tires. great for fire roads and many common 2 tracks. good luck
