Okay, I know a few of you have a Kenwood TM-D700 in their rig and use APRS with it. I have a line on a "gently used" one and am 99% sure I'll snag it. I also understand this isn't a ham forum. ;)
Be that as it may, am I correct in thinking that I can not only get the APRS info on the head unit but also have it piped to mapping software via the 232 port? At first I was thinking that I would need a splitter for the GPS feed, but then I would only have my location info on the computer.
Have any of you (with this radio) done this? I know there are probably a grand total of 5 of you running this radio, but I thought I'd ask.
