Not sure if anyone else has seen this on Pirate, but looks cool. Same design(construction) as what they used for Supercrawl.

Rock Crawling is the fastest growing motorsport in the US. For years, it has been limited to competition sites in the middle of nowhere. The sport requires rocks as large as houses. The teams attempt to navigate their 4x4 Rock Crawlers through ?obstacle courses? set up on and around those rocks, literally taking their skills and vehicles to the limits. Normally, you would have to travel to remote locations to participate. No matter how much the spectators love the sport, it is difficult to convince them to drive 4 to 6 hours to see an event. That said, the staff at CalROCS / W.E. Rock USA is proud to announce that we are bringing Rock Crawling to the city. In partnership with a local property owner and investors from Ohio, formal plans have been agreed on to build a Rock Crawling venue in Columbus. The site location will be just 15 minutes south of downtown, inside the outer belt of the metro Columbus area. The site includes 200 acres of paved parking and vendor areas, and 14 acres for the construction of the Rock Crawling courses. The courses will be made from natural materials and a sprayed concrete, with multiple large obstacles being constructed that will challenge the teams and their vehicles to the maximum. Plans call for the venue to include highly technical obstacles as well as near-vertical climbs ranging from 6 feet to as high as 50 feet. This will become a complete Rock Crawling facility with spectator seating, announcer and camera stands, raised viewing areas, and an integrated sound system. All this will be integrated in a state-of-the-art design for competitor and spectator safety. The sport regularly draws worldwide media to the remote locations. Now it will draw the same attention and more to Columbus, Ohio. This venue should be completed in March of 2005, just in time for W.E. Rock USA?s April 8-10, Eastern National Rock Crawling Event.
