everytime I stop one fluid leak on my jeep, another one appears within 2 miles?

My oil pan gasket was leaking. I replaced it, and it stopped. Then as I was pulling out my creeper, I looked over at my rear axle to notice the seal was leaking.

it was not leaking when I parked the jeep.

I fix the axle seal, and I drive it down the road and back only to find my t-case was leaking. (it wasn't leaking when I was fixing the oil pan).

I have a damn flipped 300, so I have to take the whole shifter linkage apart, and drop it out to replace the leaking shifter plate.

I put that all back together, start up my jeep, and now its leaking from the transmission/t-case plate (trans fluid) and my waterpump is leaking :ahhh:

I give up. :banghead:

Jeeps ALWAYS have at least one leak.

If you'd have let the oil pan leak, you'd have saved yourself a lot of trouble. But, Noooo. You had to fix it.

Just be glad you don't have a Ford.

Needs more silicone, RTV and form-a-gasket.

hahahahha

Ok, take the t-case out again, (that things fricken heavy) go to bolt it back up, and I stripped two of the four mounting studs going into the trans. :hysterical::hysterical:

Ssshhh - right now there are no leaks in the driveway. Trying to sell Jeep, need good karma to stick around until I find a buyer....

You sure the seals aren't just drying out from lack of use! :hysterical:

This is why my garage floor is covered in carboard boxes & kitty litter. A creeper just wont work in there.

Kelly if you figure it out, you'll make a zillion dollars.

Ever try sealing up a D18 t-case? They were not designed to actually hold the oil in it seems.

Do you pop the holes back on the covers before you put them back on? File them down if needed?

Hey you're not alone with problems. Went to the Mounds today and broke the output shaft on my t-case.

Went to use the winch and the brake isn't holding.

arrg!
