John,

Saw this while antiquing with the wife.

Thought you might get a kick out of it.

How many of the "unimproved" roads/trails are still drivable?

okay the red is trails still open to vehicles
Blue is new roads (paved) and the black and white thick lines on the map are all paved now

the yellow area is my property

and the green is now gated

and the trails i did not highlight over are all Hiking/cross country sking trails

the yankee springs area is an extremely small sliver of the area/2 tracks in the area, the rest are all on the barry state game area

That's where you live!?!

NICE!

Looks like the 'system' lacks continuity - now anyway.
Sure would be nice to get back to what's on the map, eh?

1. purple lines are all hiking
2. those enter into the state game area with several miles of two tracks connect them (that area would make an fawking awesome orv park, alot of tall hills, areas with rock, mud, ravines. I get wood everytime i drive through the area just thinking about what could be
3. is all residnetal housing and private drives etc.....no trails left

the very bottom purple line thats at the corner of the legend, that goes into the game area as well with several miles of trails that connect with the #2's trails

if you drag the map slightly to the west you'll see yankee spring road, and reference #2 on your map

W. Metz Trail open
S. Petes Rd. south of M179 is all two track, north is dirt road
County Farm Trail still open
Hart Trail Open
Fire tower trail open

then if you follopw Otis Lake rd south and jump on W. Sager Road becomes all two track
and intersecting S. Shaw trail is all two track as well
