Figure I'd post this here for more "action" in the GL world.

Its time again for a group of guys from down state and upstate to get together up in the UP for our yearly winter run. A bunch of GL members and non-members driving anything with wheels and thats about it!

With the number of people going from up in the UP area, I told the fella's I'd keep the number of add on's to at most 5 trucks.

So if you like driving up to Marquette to wheel for a few days in the snow, drop me a line.

Would love to go but the Jeep is down for some much needed maintenance.

Snow depths were reaching around 41" deep in the "easy" areas, however recent warm temps reduced that quite a bit thank goodness. We still have another 2 weeks to see what happens with the weather.

Date is solid and the rooms are booked. Just need my rims finished and I'll be ready to drive up!

Run went great!

Temps weren't thou! Morning was around -15 and by afternoon warmed up to about -5!!!

Snow was very wierd. Being so cold out made it light and grainy, worse than any conditions I've wheeled in. It had about 12" of the light grainy stuff, with 4" of icy snow and 2-3" of some light fluffy snow on top.

Everyone had fun and nobody had any real issues with the temps suprisingly, we all dressed well and it wasn't an issue.

Breakage: A few rear drive shafts, a t-case, transmission, front DS, rear frame/bumper, brake line etc...

Lucas, that looks like a blast. Some good mud slingin' in the middle of winter.
